             TrakFinder 2.0 (32-bit)

What is TrakFinder?
-------------------
These days a lot of people are getting extremely large
CD collections. So it is getting increasingly difficult
to remember where to find that particular track you're
looking for. TrakFinder uses the Windows 95 CD Player's
index to search through all of your registered CDs to
find that track you want to hear so much.

Installation
------------

To install TrakFinder, simply run the Setup program.

Using TrakFinder
----------------

The TrakFinder window is dominated by two lists. The top
one shows all CDs which match your search criteria (see below).
The lower list shows all of the tracks on the CD selected
from the top list.

To specify which CDs are shown in the top list, use the options
at the very bottom of the window. This lets you choose to see
all CDs in your collection, or just those with a particular
track, artist, title or style. For all options other than List
All CDs, you must specify a search string (a non-case-sensitive
substring) and then press the Find button.

If you search for all CDs with a particular track, all tracks
on the matching CDs will be displayed, but the track you chose
will be highlighted.

TrakFinder also lets you modify the titles, artists, styles and
track names of your CDs. Note that you will normally use the
Windows CD Player program to enter the information, as this
will link the CD information with the actual CD. TrakFinder will
only allow you to edit discs already in the database.
The Windows CD Player program will _not_ let you to enter a
style for each CD, so this must be done through TrakFinder.

To edit information about a disc or track, you may either
double-click it from the list, or select it and then click the
Edit Disc... or Edit Track... button.
